Heath and Reach Parish Council consists of 9 Councillors and a Clerk. The is an ex-officio member from Central Bedfordshire Council. The parish council employs three people the Clerk to the Parish Council, the Cemetery Clerk and the Sports & Recreation Manager. These are part-time positions. So the Clerk can only spend a certain amount of time per week on Council affairs.
