Heath & Reach Parish Council is made up of nine elected councillors, a parish clerk, cemetery clerk. A Central Bedfordshire Councillor is usually in attendance at the monthly meetings. Councillors are elected to office every four years unless a vacancy arises and then the position is usually filled by co-option.

The Parish Council meets in the Village Barn on Eastern Way on the first Monday of the month with the exclusion of Bank Holidays when it is then held on the second Monday. The council do not meet in August. All meetings are open to the public and there is a Public Forum at the start of each meeting for members of the public to raise their questions to the council. All meetings start promptly at 7.30pm - so pop along and see what the council gets up to.
